Citation Flow is a Majestic SEO metric that reflects the quantity of backlinks to a domain or URL. As low quality backlinks are abundant in the link profiles of spammed domain names, high Citation flow is not always a good thing. High Citation Flow is good only when the Trust Flow (reflecting links quality) is also high.
This is why Tool.Domains filters use Citation Flow only as a signal for potentially spammy backlink profile.
Domains with Majestic Citation Flow 20+ & Trust Flow 20+ are very rarely free. The free ones are either:
– Spammed with bad backlinks and/or penalized by Penguin; – Impossible to register because of ccTLD registry restrictions in the specific country (eg. must have a company matching domain name); – Already bought by us – then if they are for sale you can find them, along with other quality domains, in our Domain Portfolio, where the domains are for sale at very good prices.
First and most important – Beware of domain names with Citation Flow even a little more than Trust Flow because often such domains have been spammed with toxic backlinks and can have Penguin or a manual Google penalty.
